Judy - I've got two workshops coming up this Summer at Esalen Institute . . . www.esalen.org. They are "The Passion of Painting" and one is a five day (in June) and the other a 3 day (in August.) Earlier this week I was a boatbuilder on vacation and painting in Carmel and Big Sur. We stopped at the Phoenix where I met Jake who writes poetry and sees possibilities. He helped me find your print 28/150 of “Stormy Day, Big Sur”, which I now have and love, and a copy of “Drinking From a Cold Spring” which I read on the plane back to Boston. I felt as though you had written this just for me. It is perfect! I would love to take a class with you sometime. My dream would be 3 days of plein air in Big Sur. My interest is in working “fast and loose” and “learning from the painting”. Do you have any plans for classes I could take?
